Department: The Big Music Industry Directory
Position: Database Manager
Description: You would be expected to manage and maintain the database of music industry contacts, keeping records up-to-date, expanding the database, selling advertising, forging relationships with resources/websites/companies, and more
Requirements: We're looking for
someone with good skills and confidence in the following areas:
Existing background in the music industry (preferably someone who
worked with, or was an artist/in a band)
Communication skills,
Internet use.
Department: MZAGENCY
Position: Agent
Description: You would be expected to manage the whole booking process for artists on our roster, booking single dates, full/partial tours, arranging transport where required, sending promotional material to promoters, liaising with the artists, managers, promoters, street teams, etc to ensure everyone is up-to-date, expanding the roster (finding more artists), expanding and maintaining the database of contacts (promoters, venues, etc), and more.
Requirements: We're looking for
someone with good skills and confidence in the following areas:
Existing background in booking shows (someone who has worked at an
agency previously, or who has booked shows for an atrist/their band)
Negotiation skills,
Communication skills,
Diary keeping,
Internet use,
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office
